Bega Special Tools has expanded their hydraulic product range with a new line of workshop presses. Betex presses are robust, have a long service life, and come in different sizes and types.
Workshop presses are indispensable in the industrial workplace. Deployed for all kinds of assembly and disassembly tasks, they serve their purpose in the pressing, straightening, bending, assembly, punching and testing of various components. Available in different sizes and capacities ranging from 15 to 300 tons, the model range consists of the hand or foot operated hydraulic presses of the WSPM series, the electrical workshop presses of the WSPE series, as well as the portal presses of the PFPE series for heavy duty applications.
Moreover, Bega provides advice as to which press best fits the customer’s application. Particularly the electromotor-driven presses of the WSPE series stand out, given their easy two-speed operation, offering great convenience to the operator. Thanks to the joystick setup, the up or down motion of these presses is easily controlled in an extremely precise manner. Whether electrically or manually controlled, the heavier versions boasting up to a 300 ton capacity, come equipped with a foot pedal or a remote control.
The frames of the PFPE series portal presses have the ability to move lengthwise, while the cylinder can be steered sideways. This headstock flexibility provides the operator with easy access to all sides of the object’s surface. For convenience, the dual speed electro-hydraulic pump automatically reverts to a lower speed, as soon as the system detects any counter-pressure.
All Betex presses have welded frames ensuring their stability and security. Manufactured with the utmost care in Europe, based on high quality steel, these presses guarantee a long service life compliant with the strictest statutory requirements as well as European CE standards.
