Penny + Giles launches the NRH280DP, a dual output ‘no contact’ rotary position sensor. This sensor uses non-contact programmable Hall-effect technology to provide OEMs with accurate rotary measurement in extreme industrial environments. With a 6.5 mm profile, this sensor is one of the thinnest available. Designed for operation in extreme temperatures, the rugged NRH280DP is ideal for applications such as articulated dump trucks, garbage collection vehicles, road sweeping vehicles and Formula 1 racing cars. It offers a wide selection of parameter options including measurement range, and clockwise or anticlockwise direction output. The sensor can be configured so that one signal can be used in a control function while the other is used for position monitoring or display purposes.
