Electric chain hoists forstage applications mustcomply with the BGVsafety standards. To complywith BGV-D8 Plus orBGV-C1 standards, chainhoists have to be equippedwith two separateDC injection brakes,amongst other things.The new ROBA-secustopis a twin brake that fully complies with this requirement.It has been specially developed and tailor-made forthe purpose. The series is currently available in three sizeswith braking torque ranging from 2 x 4Nm to 2 x16Nm. Its compact, closed design makes it easy tohandle and fit. The working clearance is preset and doesnot require any subsequent adjustment. This meansthat malfunctions due to misuse or incorrect adjustmentare excluded by construction. The brakes feature integratedsoundproofing to reduce operating noise. Theyare practically maintenance-free. Maintenance work islimited to inspection of the friction linings.
