SICK introduced the nanoScan3, a new, ultra-compact safety laser scanner. Combining smart safety functions with great data measurement quality for an accurate and reliable localization, this space-saving sensor boasts an overall height of only 8 cm. It is used wherever machines and vehicles require maximum performance with minimal mounting space.

Measuring 101 x 101 x 80 mm in size, the nanoScan3 enables potential space-critical applications

Based on the microScan3 technology, this 2D safety sensor features programmable and dynamically adapting protective field and measurement data output for navigation support. Moreover, it is also characterized by proven scanner and evaluation technologies that guarantee maximum detection reliability even when subject to challenging ambient conditions such as dust or dirt.
