The new PicoScope 4224 IEPE from PSE-Priggen has got an integrated IEPE interface, which makes it compatible to any industrial standard IEPE accelerometer or microphone. The IEPE- (Integrated Electronic Piezo Electric) interface standard IEEE 1451.4 is most used for powering accelerometer sensors. However, there are several other sensor types, using this interface, such as microphones, impulse hammers, acoustic, force and pressure sensors etc. This new scope model was designed for customers who use it for monitoring vibrations and acoustic waveforms in the field, by means of accelerometers or microphones.
