The MiniLock from Kurt Manufacturing Company is a small, screw down clamp that works like a precision vise and that holds small parts for machining on machine tables, pallets and trunion fixtures. Applying a quarter turn to the MiniLock screw forces its split clamp jaw laterally and down clamping the part and preventing it from lifting. It can be used in single holding, double holding or multiples of both single and double holding applications. It can also clamp two parts when stationary blocks or pins are being used. Its clamping jaw is made of Ampco 18 aluminum bronze. The actuating screw is made of alloy steel. These clamps are available in 4 metric hex sizes: 17.476 mm, 22.250 mm, 23.826 mm and 28.575 mm. Hex thickness ranges from 4.776 mm to 0.375 9.525 mm.
