The EE820 sensor from E+E Elektronik is used for monitoring the CO2 concentration, even in harsh and polluted environments. Equipped with voltage and current output, it is also available with RS485 interface with Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP protocol. This sensor is highly insensitive to contamination and automatically compensates for ageing effects thanks to its E+E dual-wavelength NDIR principle.
Robust and available with options
Available over a temperature range from -20°C to 60°C, it features an IP54 enclosure equipped with a special filter for better protection of the measurement electronics. This functional enclosure facilitates mounting the sensor with closed cover. Consequently, the electronics is safe from mechanical damage and construction site pollution during installation. The sensor can also grant fast response time to changes in CO2 with an optional forced air circulation module that can be installed behind the filter.
