For operation with their industrial accelerometers, Hansford Sensors has introduced the HS-556 and HS 557 Series of sensor modules. The HS-556 also accepts inputs from other sensors operating on piezoelectric techniques. It provides 4-20mA output for velocity or 'g' signals together with a buffered accelerometer output with DC bias. The HS-557 offers an additional output, providing a 4-20mA for a temperature measurement range of 0 to 100°C sensed by either a PT100 or 10mV/°C temperature sensor. Both compact units are DIN rail mounted within industrial enclosures where multi-channel monitoring is required. Both have internal 2 pole Butterworth filters and operate from a 24V DC supply provided by an additional HS-570 module. Further HS-500 modules will be introduced in the near future to extend the scope of measurement, alarm and control facilities.
