Kübler's Sendix 3651/3671 magnetic series of sensors and encoders is designed for determining the position of utility vehicles. It is approved by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority and carries the e1 certification. The device is EMC compatible and functions error-free with vehicle electronics making it suitable for use in mobile machines. The encoders can be powered from the 12V or 24V vehicle electrical supply, they can handle noise pulses of up to 450V and they supply an angle-dependent output signal in the form of a 4 - 20mA current signal. In the voltage range a 0 - 10V or 0 - 5V voltage signal is supplied, each with a resolution of 12 bits. Pre-defined measuring ranges between 0 and 360° can be selected. An IP69K protection rating is achieved thanks to the fully-encapsulated electronics and the galvanic isolation of the bearings.
