The all-new Sensors + Systems for Control & Instrumentation was launched to fulfill a need for a technical platform for the ever growing subject of sensors and systems. This two-day event took place at the 5 star FIVE venue in Farnborough on the 14th and 15th September and was received with great enthusiasm. Visitors were of a high calibre with 45% listing Test & Measurement as their main interest with Instrument Engineering being the highest company activity. "Quality of visitors very good and overall a good first time show. Successful coverage for next year will make this the "show of the year", said Sam Drury, Sales Director, Impress Sensors & Systems. "The Sensors & Systems show was very well organised and offered a very positive experience for Igus. We will definitely be attending next year", commented Leanne Golding, Sales & Marketing, Igus (UK) Ltd. And Robert Knothe, Business Development Manager at InstMC, stated: "Visitor quality reached expectation for such a targeted event. Sensors + Systems for Control & Instrumentation will definitely be one of the few events The Institute of Measurement & Control are happy to support again next year"
