Available in sizes from 45 to 100, the new generation of dynamic DSD2 servo motors from Baumüller provides enhanced performance in terms of speed and torque in a compact construction. Boasting an increased speed range to 6,000 rpm, they are also available with water cooling in sizes 71 to 100. The new cooling option not only reduces the noise level and surface temperature of the motor, but also allows more than twice the power density, to be achieved, compared to uncooled versions. The servo motors are enclosed in a universal, slim housing with a smooth surface with low susceptibility to dirt. Virtually free of cogging, they can be used with basic performance encoders and are protected to IP 65.
