ITT's Enidine presents the HD/HDN shock absorbers. They incorporate an internal, air charged bladder accumulator, which replaces mechanical return springs and provides a shorter length and reduced weight compared to competing products.
Installation and functionality
HD/HDN buffers are installed in the logistics systems of warehouses, as well as on container cranes at sea and inland ports. They protect the cranes and trolleys from hitting the end of their respective tracks when moving across the container yard.
Energy capacity loads
ITT Enidine HD/HDN Series shock absorbers decelerate the energy capacity loads, which for some applications can reach 900 kJ per cycle. The shocks have an operating range of between -40°C and 100°C.
