Patlite offers an optional signal horn for installation in its slim MP series signal lights, to supplement the MP's red LED lamp. The MP-compatible buzzer unit consists of a main unit with a signal horn and a special mounting unit, the buzzer bracket. The bracket is mounted on the topmost LED unit using the central screw of the MP signal light. The signal horn simply snaps into this bracket. A screw on the bottom of the buzzer's main unit adjusts the volume. The maximum sound level of 80dB (at 1 m) is set at the factory. The optional buzzer enhances the warning function of the very slim MP signal towers, which have a diameter of only 30 millimetres and a height of 220 millimetres. Up to five light modules in the colours White, Yellow, Green and Blue can be stacked on the silver-coloured light fixtures. Strict colour-coded wiring of the single LED modules facilitates connection of the unit.
