The LIKA IF10 unit for incremental encodes is designed to convert, repeat, split, and cross switch incremental encoder digital signals as well as signals from proximity switches, photocells, etc. It offers 2 independent inputs to connect 2 encoders at will; and 2 independent short-circuit-proof outputs to be set according to needs. It can accept at input single channel (AB0) and quadrature (AB0, /AB0) encoder signals with either Line Driver (RS-422) or TTL or HTL 10-30V (Push-Pull) level. Inputs and outputs are independent, so all options can be set: 1 input and 2 same outputs; 1 input and 2 different outputs; 2 different inputs and 2 different outputs, etc.
Independent from the input level, the outputs always provide AB0 and /AB0 signals in RS-422 or TTL or HTL level. The Push-Pull output level depends on the power supply voltage (+12 to +30Vdc). IF10 has a slim and space-saving plastic housing with DIN rail mounting using clips (according to DIN EN 60715). It is also equipped with 2 status LEDs for power supply and signal presence. The operating temperature range is between -20°C +60°C and it has IP20 protection.
