In cooperation with CCS, Basler offers intelligent and easy to install smart lighting solutions according to requirements of the vision systems. They enable direct communication between the camera and the light source to reduce the complexity of a vision system and allow the user to integrate lighting early on. The users can choose between a flexible and an easy approach.
Two setup scenarios: a flexible and an easy approach
The flexible option is based on the use of the Basler SLP Controller, that makes customers able to select the most suitable lighting, which is monitored by the controller and directly connected to the camera. In order to add lighting to a vision system, the easiest solution is to use Basler ace U or L camera with SLP feature and a Basler Camera Light with an integrated controller. In addition, the Basler pylon Camera Software Suite supports easy integration, installation and operation for both setup scenarios.
