The Flexpower system from Banner Engineering combines low-power sensors with long-lasting lithium D cell batteries, solar panels and wireless I/O devices in order to provide enough power to operate a wide range of sensors and remote industrial wireless networks. The Flexpower modules eliminate the need for wiring between the remote device and the installation, since both sensing and communication functions are powered. The low-power sensors are only powered when needed in order to save energy. There is a range available of photoelectric, ultrasonic and temperature/humidity sensors. The DX80 Wireless Network includes up to 56 remote nodes connecting to a central gateway.
