When SPS IPC Drives opens its doors later this year, the event will occupy 14 exhibition halls for the first time in its 25 year history. Another first is that the event will occupy the recently built hall 3A designed by the renowned London architect's office, Zaha Hadid Architects. Sylke Schulz-Metzner, Head of SPS IPC Drives, describes the advantages of the trade fair expansion, "The newly built hall 3A means more room for exhibitors and visitors. Its considerable functionality, together with an airiness and energy efficiency, is a great complement to our event."
More than 1,600 exhibitors from Germany and abroad are expected, providing visitors once again with a comprehensive overview of the electric automation market this year. Just six months before the event, more than 1,000 companies have signed up to exhibit at SPS IPC Drives 2014, including all the key sector players.
