Müller Industrie-Elektronik offers the analog strain gauge amplifier ALM-HD as relaunched and extended version ALM HD2 and in a new outfit in the measurement device group for analog signal processing. The user-friendly operation has been maintained as well as the adjustment of the input sensitivity (0.1 mV / V to 4 mV / V) selectable by DIP-switches. Furthermore, the new analogue measuring amplifier also factory pre-configured is available. In the new version as an option, two adjustable limit value switches are integrated as potential-free changeover contacts. As input signal up to four resistance strain gauge sensors can be connected parallel in full bridges with 350 ohms, which can be evaluated as sum signal. The output signal of the ALM-HD2 offers a switchable analog output 0 (4) to + / - 20 mA or 0 (2) to + / - 10 V. The sensor supply voltage is (4 to 14 V) adjustable. The housing material is in the new version of robust and durable plastic (ASA 757G Luran S).Thus, the new analog measurement amplifier is now also suitable for long-term use in the shipping industry, for example, in rough seawater environment and wherever with corresponding receivers a strain gauge force measurement technique is required.
