Celesco releases its SP3 String Pot sensor with rugged cable extension design, plastic-hybrid precision potentiometer and winding drum. This sensor can be configured for a choice 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC output. It enables absolute linear position measurement within the ranges 120 mm, 315 mm, 635 mm and 1270 mm. The very compact sensor has a water resistant polycarbonate housing that can easily be mounted via 4 fixing points and a bracket. Its acceleration rating is up to 15g in retraction and its accurecy is between 0.25% to 1.0% FS depending upon stroke length. The supply voltage is 8 – 40 VDC for the current output version and 12 – 32 VDC for the voltage version.
