Available with IP 67 protection, this five port Ethernet switch from Phoenix Contact is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. Housed in a 30 mm wide enclosure, it can be installed on a standard structural element completely and without any protrusion. Operating -40 to 70 °C, the switch can be quickly and simply installed using the axial symmetrically arranged points that accept M6 screws. Integrated IEEE 802.1p compliant priority handling of data packets allows it to be used in Profinet or heterogeneous environments, where such services as IP telephony are to be handled with the highest priority. The extensive range of products for field installation, including the labeling accessories, is available for the standardized M12 connections.
