Sulzer GTC President Wins Hydrocarbon Processing Lifetime Achievement Award

The prize recognizes Wang's commitment to innovation in the oil and gas industry

During a ceremony that took place earlier this month in Houston, Texas, Pinti Wang, President of Sulzer GTC Technology, has been awarded the 2019 Hydrocarbon Processing (HP) Lifetime Achievement Award. The prize was presented by the Adrienne Blume, Executive Editor of Hydrocarbon Processing, a trade journal dedicated to industry professional in the field of oil and gas. 


Mr. Wang stated, “I am honored to have been nominated and selected for the 2019 HP Lifetime Achievement award. I feel that this prize recognizes the collective work done by all the highly skilled and talented teams I have led and continue to work with at Sulzer GTC Technology.”

Midstream and downstream innovation

The Hydrocarbon Processing Lifetime Achievement award acknowledged Wang’s lifetime commitment to innovation. After having founded GTC Technology in 2002, a company specialized in process technologies and mass transfer solutions in the petrochemical industry, Wang sold it to Sulzer but he continues to significantly contribute to the growth and direction of GTC as the current President of Sulzer GTC.
