With the introduction of the CP-C support arm system and the development of a modular solution, Rittal offers plant engineers and users flexibility in cable management, service and retrofitting. If required, the support sections of the arm system are offered as open versions. Through the open section, which complies with IP 54, cables can be quickly and easily installed – including a DVI or VGA connector – at any time. Cables can also be installed later, without having to mechanically process or remove the support section. The system pays for itself in the event of servicing or when expanding the control elements in the command panel. The X-shaped geometry of the open C-CP support section provides two separate cable ducts. Control lines and power supply can thus be separated from each other, preventing undesired coupling. Removable lids on all angle pieces, couplings and joints ensure additional access to the wiring. Suitable cut-outs are provided in the lids allowing signal pillars to be mounted on the support arm without the need for any drilling or milling. An interactive online tool allows configuration of the appropriate support arm solution also provides higher speed in engineering.
