The CBT2plus and CANobserver analysis and surveillance tools from IXXAT, enable easy analysis and monitoring of the signal quality in CAN networks. Thanks to the various trigger modes and the integrated oscilloscope, the tools can easily analyze errors, detect their causes and fix the problems. The CANobserver offers the comprehensive analysis functionality of CBT2plus in an enhanced version for long-term monitoring. It allows permanent monitoring of CAN-based networks. In case the signal quality is impaired, the CANobserver can autonomously inform the operator via e-mail, SNMP or via a digital output. This enables maintenance to be carried out even before the error occurs in the CAN network. The CANcorder data logger even allows for sporadic errors and their causes to be detected and fixed.
