BIG KAISER has announced the appointment of Taku Ichii as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), replacing Peter Elmer. The change will take effect on the 1st of March. Peter Elmer has been instrumental in building a highly innovative enterprise, significantly expanding both its product and geographic scope. In recent years, he has been at the helm of a transformation to state-of-the-art high precision machining technology coupled with the entry into Industry 4.0 with software and electronics peripherals.

Extensive International Managerial Skills

Taku Ichii joined BIG KAISER’s mother company BIG Daishowa in 2004 and brings a strong technical background and extensive international managerial skills. Over the last four years, Taku Ichii has acquainted himself with Switzerland and Swiss culture, and will now be joining the management of BIG KAISER presently consisting of Reto Adam, Chief Operations Officer; Giampaolo Roccatello, Sales Director; Corinne Bucher, Chief Financial Officer; and Ralph Stadelmann, Chief R&D Officer. 

The Board of Directors acknowledges that, “Taku Ichii has played a significant role in the development of the company's strategy,” and thanks Peter Elmer for “doing an impressive job in developing the company.”
