ASM's Positape stainless steel tape position sensors have a measurement range of 2000 mm and a compact housing of 2 x 2 x 3.3 inches. These WB10ZG sensors are made of a special stainless steel tape that offers a high degree of flexibility and a high lifetime. It is suited for applications where direct inline measurement is not possible due to space constraints or where icing can occur. The standard tape brush continuously wipes the tape surface to remove debris or ice accumulation. This position transducer has an IP65 enclosure rating and is available with 0.5-4.5V, 0.5-10V and 4-20 mA analog outputs or SSI, CANopen, CAN SAE J1939 digital outputs.
