Deltalogics software ACCON-TeleService IE allows reliable remote access to Siemens S7 PLCs, without any modification being required on the S7 project. The software supports all common Windows operating systems and is now also suitable for 64 bit versions.
The remote maintenance software is able to decode and correctly forward all the port numbers and IP addresses to internal port numbers thus allowing direct access to different S7 PLCs - while the project data remains intact and is not affected. The software allows for transparent data exchange for both, individual participants as well as entire network segments. Based on the port forwarding rules configured, the router automatically translates the port numbers and IP addresses (PAT, Port and Address Translation), so that several participants can be accessed from outside the system via the router's IP address. As the exchange of IP addresses has been added as an additional interface to the PG/PC interface, it is directly available for all Siemens standard engineering tools (with the exception of the TIA portal, which is not included yet). In addition to defining the target address as IP address, users can also work with the DNS (Domain Name System) name.
