On 24 October, the Schmersal Group completed the acquisition of omnicon engineering, a safety service-provider based in Kirkel-Limbach, Germany. omnicon engineering offers a comprehensive range of safety services, accompanying customers in all stages of safety measures, from risk and hazard assessment to the redaction of technical documents and training. It focuses on advising medium-sized companies and ensuring machine compliance with EU regulations on machine safety.
Expanding tec nicum
Philip Schmersal, managing Director and Shareholder of K.A. Schmersal Holding stated, “The takeover of omnicon engineering GmbH is part of our expansion strategy and we expect to achieve greater market penetration for the services of our tec nicum division. This allows us to offer greater proximity to our customers, especially those in the south-west of Germany, thus ensuring even shorter distances and faster response times.”
