    VPInstruments announces the addition of the P220 thermal probe to the VPFlowScope M family. This new model retains all the benefits of the VPFlowScope M insertion flow meter, but has an optimised design that allows it to be used in pipes as small as 1". This ensures maximum accuracy with minimum pressure loss. Designed for compressed air and industrial gases, the VPFlowScope M is a versatile 4-in-1 insertion flow meter. It simultaneously measures bi-directional flow, pressure, temperature and total flow. Like all VPFlowScope M models, the P220 can be installed under pressure. It's the ideal solution for both audits and permanent installations to gain an insight into the performance of your system.

    The newly designed sensor tip of the VPFlowScope M P220 ensures an ultra-low blockage factor, significantly reducing the pressure drop over the sensor. This improvement ensures to obtain accurate measurements even in 1" pipes. This optimisation makes it particularly suitable for compact systems where minimising pressure drop is critical to performance.

    Enhanced safety 

    For faster and easier installations, the VPFlowScope M P220 features an improved safety coupling that allows safe insertion under pressure. Its reduced insertion length also makes it perfect for tight or hard-to-reach spaces, streamlining both installation and maintenance. This means minimal disruption to existing systems and easy replacement when required.

    Unlike in-line flowmeters, the M P220 can be installed under pressure, eliminating the need to shut down operations. This feature is invaluable for plants with continuous processes as it minimises downtime and disruption to operations, saving time and resources.
