Available in two variants with RS-232 or IO-Link interfaces and 0-10V/4-20mA analog output, OY1P303P0189 and OY1P303P0102 transit time sensors use the Wenglor interference-free technology (WinTec), which suppresses such interference as reflections from the background and from neighboring sensors. As such, dependable recognition of glossy and black objects, for example, at extremely inclined angles, and with reflective objects in the background can now be carried out reliably. Featuring a 50x50x20mm compact design, the laser class 1 sensor is equipped with two independent switching outputs, making it possible to teach in two switching points using different teach-in modes. Due to a contiguous working range of 50 to 3050 mm without a blind spot, objects are also detected directly in front of the sensor’s lens. Where several sensors were required in the past, a single sensor now scans both the close-up and the distant range. The small laser light-spot and a switching frequency of 250 Hz allow for accurate measurement even at high speeds and temperatures from -40 to 50° C.
