As HANNOVER MESSE 2014 drew to a close, both exhibitors and trade visitors, according to the organizer, were positive about their experiences at the fair. "As one might expect of the world's most important industrial technology fair, this year's HANNOVER MESSE was squarely focused on the number one trend shaping the industrial landscape today - integration and the technologies that drive it. The fair also demonstrated once again that the breadth and depth of coverage it provides is without equal anywhere in the world. Visitors were able to see the full range of solutions for the industrial challenges of the future, from individual components to fully functional smart production lines. That's why no other industrial technology fair attracts as many senior decision makers from around the world," said Marc Siemering, Deutsche Messe's Senior Vice-President responsible for HANNOVER MESSE.

This year's Industrial Automation show demonstrated that the fourth industrial revolution is well underway. The show featured a vast array of key innovations that will play a decisive role in the future of manufacturing. These included many presentations of market-ready solutions and products for key challenges, such as standardization and IT security. The security of data and digitized processes was one of the keynote themes at this year's Industrial Automation show, including at the Industrial IT Forum, which attracted over 3,500 participants.

The next HANNOVER MESSE will be held from 13 to 17 April 2015.
