Pfeiffer Vaccum introduces its HiPace 80 Neo turbopump that provides longer pre-service life and reduced vibration and noise. With the advanced Laser Balancing™ system for turbopump rotors, the vacuum pump is suitable for vibration-sensitive applications. The turbopump is suitable for applications ranging from mass spectrometry, electron microscopy to leak detectors and RGA systems. The integrated temperature measurement system ensures better performance while the integrated sensors offer operational reliability. The robust hybrid bearing of the turbopump features an oil-lubricated ceramic ball bearing on the primary vacuum side and a permanent magnet radial bearing on the high vacuum side.
Compact design allowing the pump to be integrated into portable and mobile applications
The HiPace 80 Neo is smaller, more compact and lighter than other turbopumps. Micro-USB interfaces with automatic accessory recognition allow the system to be up and running in just a few steps. The high-performance lubricant built into the pump improves safety and reliability through better resistance to aging, optimized lubrication behavior and higher temperature resistance. HiPace 80 Neo pumps are maintenance-free for up to 5 years.
