Datalogic Automation announces the US50 series of ultrasonic sensors with an M50 plastic tubular housing. There are two versions available of this ultrasonic sensor, namely: the digital bipolar PNP/NPN NO/NC with configurable output and the analogue 0-10V/4-20mA also with configurable output. Both models are equipped with a radial emitting head. The operating distance of this sensor ranges from 200mm to 8m. Therefore this ultrasonic sensor is ideal for industrial applications where the target must be detected or measured far away from the sensor. Via DIP-Switches on the rear part, the sensor’s functions can be configured. This ultrasonic sensor is capable of detecting objects independently from material, transparency or color.
