Microsonic extended the M18 pico+ family with ultrasonic sensors with analogue output of 0-10 voltage and a 4-20 mA current. These very small pico+ ultrasonic sensors have a 30 mm blind zone and a slim beam spread. With their 0.2 mm resolution these sensors can scan small objects with a high degree of precision. There are 3 ranges and 2 housing variants available of these sensors. Via a teach-in procedure the analogue characteristics can be set and the output characteristics can be switched over from the rising to the following one. Both the switching design of the IO-Link interface and the analogue pico+ sensors are supported by the microsonic LinkControl software.
