A simple solution to prevent unintentional unplugging, the V-Lock system by Schurter comes with various different connectors, power entry modules and several country-specific power cables. It can be used for 10 and 16 A power inlets and connectors according to IEC 60320. The system’s locking mechanism uses an interlocking pin in the socket and a notch in the plug. There is no need to adapt and build a specific socket system or a retained device. The locking is released by means of a lever, which stands out due to its bright yellow color. The extraction force is 200 N. Typical applications are in medical appliances, analysis and laboratory instruments, Telecom and IT- devices, power distribution or radio and TV-studios.
