Vehicle Control Unit

Meeting the functional requirements of commercial vehicles, the VCS vehicle control system from Müller Industrie-Elektronik consists of a compact VCS-TU control unit, which can be DIN mounted in the radio slot on the vehicle dashboard. Alternatively, it comes as an operating unit in a robust heavy-duty-case connected to a hand held remote unit VSC-RU. The latter can additionally be used as independent controlling unit with seven different functions. The two mounting operating units VCS-TU-DIN and VCS-TU-HD can be custom programmed for up to 19 control commands and have pushbutton slide-in labels for user-specific identification of the command functions. The programming can be done via an external programmable logic control or via the software provided. Device settings and vehicle data can be seen on the integrated display. The power unit, VCS-PU, is connected to the operating unit through a 2 wire CANbus interface. It is available in three models, offering different switching capacities. For customized solutions, the unit is available for OEM integration as well as in an IP69k protected heavy-duty case.
