Voltage Surge Protection

Suitable for process measurement and control interface modules, Turck’s IMSP surge protection interface modules can be used in Ex-zone as well as in non-Ex-zone applications. Sealed according to IP20, six modules in the series have a 6.2 mm width and are offered in two-, three-, and four-wire technology. They are mounted over the standard top-hat or an assembly plate that is provided. For two-wire variants, such as analog data separator, modules with one (IMSP-1x2-24) or two (IMSP-2x2-24) signal circuits are available. Binary signals of switches or inductive as well as capacitive sensors are processed via floating signal wires of modules IMSP-S-12 and IMSP-2-24. With the modules IMSP-4-12 and IMSP-4-24 temperature amplifiers, for example, can be connected with voltage surge protection.
