Women in AI's WAI Summit will be held on September 08, 2020. Due to the global pandemic, this year’s event will take place virtually. 

The WAI Summit is an annual gathering of the global community of Women in AI which includes researchers, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, and policy makers.The summit provides the platform for women within the AI ecosystem to share ideas and their perspectives on various issues and trends in their field towards the creation of a more inclusive and diverse AI. Speakers will be drawn from the rich pool of expertise the community boasts of.  

This year’s summit is expected to have at least 2000 participants tuning in from the over 115 countries that Women in AI is present in. It will be a full day’s event with virtual conferences on different verticals to be held each hour of the day. The sessions will kickstart in Australia before moving to Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

Co-Founder of Women in AI and team lead for this year’s WAI Summit, Moojan Asghari says “the summit is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to connect with the Women in AI’s community, get inspired by the latest trends, discussions and meet with outstanding speakers. We are ‘bringing minds together’ from all around the world to make an impact”.

Its mission is to increase the participation and representation of women in AI through advocacy, research, education and events.
